Our innovative IQ Energy solution marks a significant milestone in the transition to net-zero. We are now establishing a Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCU/S) division to offer sustainable contracting solutions along the entire CO2 value chain.

As a Senior Project Procurement Manager Implementation CCU/S, you will be responsible for implementing large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe. Your tasks will include commercial project lead, contract and claim management, and dealing with standardized international supply contracts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Commercial project lead to implement large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites/power plants across Europe
  • Contract and claim management, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts
  • Dealing with standardized international supply contracts and different national laws
  • Process link between the project and E.ON's central procurement department
  • Ongoing controlling and reporting of project budgets, continuous risk management, and supplier development

Requirements:

  • University degree or similar with solid commercial background and knowledge of tendering and procurement procedures
  • Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors
  • Strong capabilities as purchaser in challenging and complex working situations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently, and willingness to take initiative
  • Team-oriented and confident approach to negotiations and communication with suppliers and service providers
  • Ability to enter technical, process engineering areas and specifications, as well as legal topics and contract law
  • Written and spoken English and German fluency (at least B2 level)
  • User knowledge of SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, as well as very good MS Office skills
