Your Responsibilities- Lead commercial projects to implement large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe, focusing on post-combustion carbon capture with capacities over 100 kt/a.
- Manage contracts and claims, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of EPC and engineering contracts, supported by legal and technical specialists.
- Deal with standardized international supply contracts and national laws, ensuring compliance and effective negotiation.
- Act as a process link between the project and E.ON's central procurement department, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and control project budgets, identifying and mitigating risks from the award phase to acceptance.
- Pre-qualify suppliers and service providers to ensure compliance with requirements and standards, promoting supplier development.
- Hold a university degree or equivalent with a solid commercial background and expertise in tendering and procurement procedures, international contract management, and legal frameworks.
- Bring several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors.
- Demonstrate strong purchasing capabilities, especially in complex and challenging situations.
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset, working independently, taking initiative, and showing high commitment, while being team-oriented and confident in negotiations and communication.
- Be able to enter technical, process engineering areas, and specifications, as well as legal topics and contract law, to understand procurement in a holistic way.
- Have excellent written and spoken English and German fluency (at least B2 level), with knowledge of other languages a plus.
- Be familiar with SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, as well as possess very good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Be available for short business trips in Europe to meet customers and stakeholders.
