Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ASACS Counselor to join our team at Magellan Health Services. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will be responsible for implementing the ASACS Counseling Program at assigned locations, providing comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized service plans to address the needs of adolescents and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the ASACS Counseling Program at assigned locations, including school-based settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of referred adolescents and families to identify their needs and develop individualized service plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services as necessary to promote resiliency, reduce mental health disorders, and develop general life skills.
  • Collaborate with community stakeholders, including the garrison command, to address adolescent substance use issues and trends.
  • Master's degree from an accredited university with CACREP accreditation required for counseling programs.
  • Drug and Alcohol Certification (MRAS, CSAC, CAP, etc.) and licensure as an independent level provider (LCSW, LMHC/LPC, LMFT, or Clinical/Counseling Psychologist) required.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment and experience with electronic medical records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited university with CACREP accreditation required for counseling programs.
  • Drug and Alcohol Certification (MRAS, CSAC, CAP, etc.) and licensure as an independent level provider (LCSW, LMHC/LPC, LMFT, or Clinical/Counseling Psychologist) required.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment and experience with electronic medical records.
