Solution Sales Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Solution Sales Manager to join our team at Dun & Bradstreet. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, providing customized solutions to our clients, and contributing to our growth targets.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities to complete customer projects across all industries, focusing on increasing sales via new customer acquisition and cross-selling within the customer base.
- Drive revenue and sales growth in line with agreed targets, managing progress through accurate and regular reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure the optimal presence of D&B products and services within complex customer structures, maintaining a robust opportunity funnel.
- Prepare customer requirements analysis and design and execute business reviews.
- Advocate internally for customers to maximize their added value and contribute to product and solution improvements.
- Manage the customer journey by recommending suitable D&B products and solutions, acting as the first point of contact for strategic questions regarding products and services.
- Develop industry/company-specific success strategies and action plans in collaboration with relationship management teams (joint Account Planning).
Your Experience
- University degree or equivalent with a technical affinity and a numbers-driven background.
- Proven track record of successful sales in complex buying units with several years of experience demonstrating consistent individual overachievement and revenue management.
- Strong leadership in sales conversations, motivational skills, and a confident, presentable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Practical experience in implementing modern sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sales, MEDDIC).
- Strong interpersonal skills with "C" and "C-1" level communication experience. Well-developed ability to identify opportunities and achieve success in cross-selling and new customer sales.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
- Sound understanding of customer processes (Risk Management, Compliance, Supply) and relevant customer offerings within the respective area of expertise, as well as deep knowledge of relevant industries and markets.
- Experience in designing and delivering workshops, live demos, and training sessions.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant tools and processes (including databases and systems) in information services with business information and risk data.
- Proficient in industry-specific, user-related MS Office and IT skills, with business-fluent English and German language skills.
