Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team as a Fachinformatiker/in für Systemintegration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure and hardware in AWS Cloud regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management
    • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure high uptime and performance.
    • Ensure compliance with internal Service Level Agreements (SLA) and industry standards.
  • Hardware and Network Troubleshooting
    • Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues to minimize downtime.
    • Conduct root cause analysis for device failures to prevent recurrence.
  • Work Safety and Quality
    • Ensure the highest safety standards and promote quality, safety, health, and environmental protection.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with the Data Center Operations (DCO) team to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement changes.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Completed vocational training in IT or relevant work experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience with ticketing systems, IT hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.
    • Proficient in English.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
    • Proficient in Change Management systems and data centers.
    • Proficient in German and English.
    • Willingness to work shifts and on-call.
