Drive Innovation Excellence

As a Senior Manager of Innovation Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in managing and driving Heraeus Precious Metals' innovation excellence on a daily basis. You will contribute to the company's concepts for innovation excellence and support the derivation and further development of its domains (focus applications).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive innovation projects from concept to implementation.
  • Contribute to the development of innovation strategies and concepts.
  • Support the derivation and further development of domains (focus applications).
  • Run the Innovation Project Management Office (steering, methods, project management principles).
  • Carry out ideation workshops and accelerators.
  • Take an active role in the governance of innovation.
  • Set up and drive multi/outside-Business Line innovation topics.
  • Manage technology scouting in the area of new markets/new technologies.

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree in natural science, mathematics, informatics, or engineering, ideally with a PhD.
  • Solid understanding of business metrics, financial implications, and the ability to align innovation activities with business goals.
  • Expertise in leading organizational change and adapting to new ways of working.
  • Strong ability to conduct market research, trend analysis, and technology landscape assessments to spot and evaluate new opportunities quickly.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies.
  • Fluent in English and command of German language is of help.
  • Strong networking and leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for innovation.
