Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician North Sea - Troubleshooter to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on our offshore wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems of offshore wind turbines
  • Identify and troubleshoot common and complex faults on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Provide on-the-job training and evaluation of maintenance technicians
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting skills and knowledge
  • Lead small teams and ensure safety, competency, and productivity
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in call arrangements and internal training
Requirements
  • Successful completion of electrical education or training
  • Several years of experience in the wind industry, preferably offshore
  • Advanced understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Proactive and independent work style
  • Team player
  • Flexibility in regards to shift work and site location
