Financial Analyst Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our team and contribute to our mission. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of our customer credit portfolio, including exposure calculations and monitoring, refinancing, hedging, and treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management
- Assist in the daily management of the customer credit portfolio, including exposure calculations and monitoring.
- Support the portfolio manager in refinancing, hedging, and treasury operations.
- Credit & Risk Assessments
- Perform ongoing and timely credit assessments of Cloover's customers and partners.
- Manage and automate underwriting decisions and handle delinquencies.
- Evaluate outcomes and conduct scenario testing.
- Data Analysis & Management
- Provide timely KPIs and relevant data points to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial and operational records.
- Manage databases and input information, data, and records into various software programs.
- Sustainability Management & Reporting
- Initiate and report on initiatives related to Cloover's sustainability efforts.
- Implement sustainability policies across the organization.
- Project Work
- Initiate and lead special projects focused on data, energy efficiency, finance, or operational management.
- Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and other reports to track the organization's financial health.
- Analyze variances and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Operational Support
- Support daily operations through the efficient management of office resources.
- Ensure business operations are efficient in terms of resource usage while meeting quality standards.
- Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements related to finance and operations.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to address financial and operational inquiries and issues.
- You are currently enrolled as a student at a top-tier university or have recently concluded your studies.
- You are available for 3-6 months.
- You have relevant pre-experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio management, and corporate finance.
- You are a proactive, entrepreneurial personality with strong communication skills, taking personal responsibility and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
- You are a team player, willing to work as part of a high-performing team with diverse roles and backgrounds.
- You speak fluent English and German.
