E-Commerce Category Manager for Battery Products

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager/Product Manager to drive the sales growth of our battery product category across our webshops and Amazon.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing sales and product trends, as well as e-commerce customer demand
  • Developing and maintaining pricing strategies for battery products in our target markets
  • Identifying new online marketplaces, attending trade fairs, and collaborating with suppliers to develop products that meet customer needs
  • Working with our purchasing team to source suitable battery products that fulfill identified niches
  • Providing clear direction to content, graphic design, and photography departments to ensure accurate product descriptions, packaging, and instruction manuals
  • Overseeing the sales and profitability of the battery product category
  • Creating regular, detailed plans and forecasts for the category
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement category strategies across the organization

Requirements:

  • A relevant university degree or comparable training
  • At least two years of professional experience in category management, product management, or purchasing, preferably in an e-commerce environment
  • Expertise, experience, and a personal interest in electronic products, preferably as a product or category manager
  • Advanced written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A high sense of responsibility and project management skills
