E-Commerce Category Manager for Battery Products

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager/Product Manager to drive the sales growth of our battery product category across our webshops and Amazon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse sales and product trends, competition, and e-commerce customer demand to inform category strategies.
- Develop and maintain pricing strategies for battery products in our target markets.
- Identify new online marketplaces, attend trade fairs, and collaborate with suppliers to develop products meeting customer needs.
- Work with the purchasing team to source suitable products that fulfill identified niches.
- Provide clear direction to content, graphic design, and photography departments to ensure accurate product descriptions and branding.
- Oversee the sales and profitability of the battery product category.
- Create regular, detailed plans and forecasts for the category.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement category strategies across the organisation.
Requirements:
- A relevant university degree or comparable training.
- At least two years of professional experience in category management, product management, or purchasing, preferably in e-commerce.
- Expertise, experience, and a personal interest in electronic products, preferably as a product or category manager.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A high sense of responsibility and project management skills.
