Director of Finance

Shiftmove is a leading fleet management company that has merged two of Europe's top companies to create a new entity. We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Finance to drive our financial strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead group accounting and consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAPs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance leaders, fostering a high-performance, trust-based environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and other relevant accounting and financial frameworks. Lead audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Manage international and corporate tax matters, ensuring precise reporting and full statutory compliance.
  • Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth integration and alignment across teams, processes, and systems.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in group accounting, consolidation, and leading finance teams.
  • Proven ability to handle and optimize complex international tax and accounting challenges.
  • Skilled in areas like intercompany setups (Transfer Pricing, Intercompany loans) and cash flow management.
  • Hands-on leader with the ability to roll up sleeves and tackle complex challenges.
  • Empathetic mentor with a strong leadership style that builds trust and empowers teams.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to take complex financial data and make it easy to understand.
