Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Onboarding Manager to join our Product Solutions Team at Universal Investment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Steer and monitor the onboarding process for securities fund launches and transfers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Act as the central point of contact and escalation body for clients and internal departments during the onboarding process.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and communicate any additional requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the legal and operational setup of new mandates, including cross-country distribution requirements.
  • Support clients and internal departments in handling non-standard requests, such as commissions and new processes.
  • Ensure that all onboarding-related KYC and Due Diligence requirements are met by supporting Legal and Compliance.
  • Establish and maintain efficient and well-documented onboarding and life cycle management processes for clients in line with local fund regulations.
  • Contribute to product developments by addressing potential improvements and working closely with Universal's Product Management Team.
Requirements:
  • Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the European asset management industry, either in a project management or client-facing role.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including proven experience in project management and/or contract management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Good understanding of the investment fund business in Germany, Luxembourg, and Ireland.
  • Service orientation, paired with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Dedicated team player.
  • Strong leadership skills and high capability of convincing others.
  • Fluent in German and English, with any additional language considered an asset.
