We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Analyst / Lead to join our team at Intellect Group. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's sustainability and decarbonization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies to reduce our carbon footprint across all operational areas, ensuring adherence to global standards and regulations.
- Craft and manage a comprehensive decarbonization plan, setting ambitious targets to move towards a net-zero carbon footprint.
- Engage with internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and regulatory bodies, to drive sustainability initiatives forward.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, preparing detailed sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement new technologies and best practices to enhance sustainability, while educating the workforce on sustainable practices.
- Oversee projects focused on the management and support of dashboards and metrics, crucial for tracking progress and decision-making.
- Minimum of 3 years in a sustainability role, preferably within the chemical distribution or a similar industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations, carbon accounting, sustainable supply chain management, and project management.
