Biomass Commercial Sustainability Expert

Uniper is seeking a highly skilled Biomass Commercial Sustainability Expert to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our Biomass Sourcing and Trading team, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial sustainability of our biomass projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial sustainability strategies for biomass projects, ensuring compliance with European and national regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the commercial sustainability of biomass projects, including traders, deal execution, and middle office colleagues.
- Represent Uniper at international biomass forums and business events, promoting our commercial sustainability expertise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry associations.
- Contribute to the development of Uniper's commercial sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial sustainability, with a focus on biomass.
- Strong knowledge of European and national regulations related to biomass sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
