Reinsurance Accountant Retrocession Cover Specialist

As a Reinsurance Accountant Retrocession Cover, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing comprehensive retrocession cover statements, including claims notifications and determining settlement figures.
- Processing and checking incoming and outgoing reinsurance settlements, as well as current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments.
- Processing claims notifications, including technical sanction checks.
- Corresponding and coordinating with internal and external customers worldwide.
- Collaborating in working groups and digitalisation projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting, or taxes, or a degree in business administration with a corresponding focus.
- Experience in processing statements of account and current accounts related to (re)insurance contracts.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A strong understanding of numbers and the ability to familiarise yourself with new IT technologies and tools.
- Business fluent German language skills.
- A conversational level of English, mainly used in written form.
We offer a hybrid work model with flexible working hours and 30 days of annual leave. You will also have the opportunity to work abroad, with up to 20 days per year within the EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
