Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Steelcase. As a frontline representative, you will provide high-performance IT support for our Rosenheim facility, ensuring seamless technical assistance to our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic and advanced technical support and consulting to employees and customers
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
  • Manage hardware and software technology products, including troubleshooting throughout the technology value stream
  • Support end-user workplace devices, including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, copiers, phones, and multimedia display screens
  • Understand local network topology and provide basic hands-on support to the Network team
  • Evaluate, install, set up, and manage software products included in the basic desktop system configuration
  • Handle user IT incidents and requests via Service-Now software call tracking system according to procedures
  • Manage all incidents according to established procedures and follow Steelcase IT policy standards
  • Participate in special assignments, such as offering technical support for various events and providing technical writing and documentation
  • Contribute to the development and execution of local and regional projects and initiatives
Requirements
  • Higher education graduate
  • ~0-2 years experience in a similar field (technical field support preferred)
  • Advanced English and German language skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and ServiceNow (a plus)
