About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our team at ABOUT YOU. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bank statements and reconcile accounts
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions
- Manage guarantees and intra-group loans
- Prepare weekly payment runs and month-end closing processes
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements
- Ensure correct accounting treatment of executed FX hedges
- Prepare AWV reports for Deutsche Bundesbank
- Contribute to the implementation of our new ERP system
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial processes
Requirements
- Completed training as an Accountant or comparable university degree
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Accounting, preferably in Treasury
- Good knowledge of SAP 4 Hana and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Software
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Experience in ERP system implementation is a plus
- Fluency in English (essential) and German (preferred)
