Treasury Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our team at ABOUT YOU. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions and reports.
Responsibilities- Process bank statements and reconcile accounts
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account reconciliations
- Process guarantees and intra-group loans and loans to related parties
- Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Support the month-end closing process and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Provide necessary documentation and explanations for the preparation of annual financial statements
- Ensure correct accounting treatment of executed FX hedges
- Prepare AWV reports for Deutsche Bundesbank
- Play a key role in the implementation of our new ERP system
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Identify optimization potentials in process handling and ensure the quality of all accounting processes
- Completed training as an Accountant or comparable university degree
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Accounting, preferably in Treasury
- Good knowledge of SAP 4 Hana and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Software
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel and Power BI
- Ideal experience in ERP system implementation
- Good communication skills and fluency in English (essential) and German (preferred)
