Position Overview
The role of Natural Scientist in Supplier Management is vital for the effective management and enhancement of supplier partnerships, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and successfully.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and sustain robust relationships with suppliers.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee supplier management projects to meet timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality benchmarks.
- Assess potential suppliers against established criteria, perform supplier evaluations, and negotiate agreements.
- Ensure supplier compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and quality expectations.
- Engage proactively with prospective suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., customer service) to align objectives, tackle challenges, and enhance supplier management processes.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline, or equivalent training as a technical assistant, with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Thorough understanding of human bioprobes and a sales-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
