Senior Financial Analyst

Amazon TA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Finance Transformation Team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with accounting, tax compliance, and technical teams to deliver world-class automated accounting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Concentrate on automation of compliance reporting and work with stakeholders and global accounting teams to identify, define, and specify solutions meeting customer needs.
- Act as the point of contact between Accounting, Tax, and Fintech teams.
- Map accounting data sets from Amazon systems to relevant local legislation's schema for compliance reports.
- Test automated output reports to underlying records in an efficient manner using technologies such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, etc.
- Work closely with other functional and system teams to understand impacts of changes as a result of process changes and communicate them to relevant tax and accounting stakeholders.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls to obtain the highest integrity of financial reporting (US and local GAAP) and tax compliance.
- Deliver compliance reporting for a variety of different jurisdictions.
- Significant experience within accounting with BI or data analyst background, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and/or a multinational organization.
- Adept in accounting and tax principles.
- Several years of experience delivering cross-functional projects for large and global entities in a matrix structure with technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels.
- Skilled in data visualization techniques and reconciliation of big data using technologies such as SQL, Alteryx, Python, VBA, Tableau, MS Excel.
