Job Title: Buyer Surface

Join Wintershall Dea as a Buyer Surface and take on a challenging role in our procurement department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing and contracting activities, ensuring business continuity and project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute purchase-to-pay transactions and ensure contract performance and adherence to contractual conditions.
  • Manage tender processes, evaluate proposals, and conduct final negotiations up to contract award.
  • Establish project procurement strategies and coordinate between project and procurement organization.
  • Support smooth project organization and search solutions for supply chain relevant project issues.
  • Manage non-conformities and handle disputes and claims.
Requirements:
  • Relevant vocational education or bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (economics, procurement/supply chain, engineering).
  • At least 2 years' experience in operational/strategic buyer position (procurement/supply chain) or alternative profound sourcing and contract management experience.
  • Proactive team player with solution-oriented and self-motivated approach.
  • Good communicating and interpersonal skills, analytical and systematic way of working.
  • Knowledge of E&P business and good knowledge of surface equipment & services is an advantage.
  • Cross-cultural awareness and good negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English & German (oral and written).
  • High willingness to travel and commitment to company HSE policy and principles.
