About the Role
Olympus is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our EMEA Logistics Operations team. As the Head of EMEA Logistics Operations, you will be responsible for the strategic management of our logistics chains, ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage logistics chains and lead service providers to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Analyze and optimize operational processes worldwide and in the EMEA region
- Identify cost optimization potentials and lead corresponding optimization projects
- Collaborate with global and local management teams to ensure service promises are met
- Develop and implement digitalization projects to improve logistics processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies or comparable training in transport and warehouse logistics
- Several years of management and professional experience in warehouse and transport logistics
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and a sense of responsibility
