Job Title: Project Lead Offshore Cable

Tennet TSO GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead Offshore Cable to join our team. As a key member of our Large Projects Offshore unit, you will be responsible for the realization of the offshore cable scope within the Regional Cluster Wilhelmshaven for the projects BalWin3 & LanWin4.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE guidelines, contractual requirements, schedule constraints, budget, quality requirements, internal documentation requirements, and authority regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate TenneT's interdisciplinary team assigned to the offshore cable portion of the project.
  • Develop and maintain collaboration-oriented relationships with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Proactively manage project risks and opportunities, upholding project management requirements.
  • Manage interfaces across projects, particularly in relation to offshore platforms and nearshore cable scopes.
  • Align with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore and other departments to ensure and improve standards of the 2GW program and consolidate shared learnings across projects.
Your Profile and Background:
  • You hold a master's degree and academic level of thinking and working, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have over 5 years of experience in a comparable role, managing tasks associated with offshore cable processes for large infrastructure projects.
  • You are dynamic, enthusiastic, and determined, with a strong orientation for collaboration and partnership.
  • You have strong communication skills to support managing relevant stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in German and English and willing to travel internationally as per project needs.
  • You are preferably IPMA Level C certified or open to obtaining it.

This Will Be Our Challenge:

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.

  • The weekly working time is 37 hours.
