About the Role

TenneT is a leading player in the energy transition, and we're looking for a skilled Sub Project Lead - Cable Installation Nearshore to join our team in Hannover.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the installation of cables in tidal areas up to 10m waterline within an offshore grid connection project.
  • Oversee the project end-to-end, including permit, detailed planning, and handover to operations.
  • Ensure delivery of the technical scope in accordance with TenneT and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor EPC contractors for high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Steer the work and collaboration of TenneT subcontractors.
  • Supervise on-site work and ensure documentation meets TenneT standards.
  • Report on EPC contractor progress and changes.

Your Profile and Background

  • Academic degree in civil or mechanical engineering or comparable qualifications.
  • Work experience in offshore cable installation, preferably in tidal areas, and managing contractors.
  • Excellent German and English language skills for communication with authorities and international partners.
  • High level of independence, initiative, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on construction sites during building activities, requiring a driver's license (class B).
