Senior Product Development Manager

About the Role:
- Assume a leadership role in the transfer of new electron-optical developments from R&D prototypes to production-ready products.
- Develop project schedules and plans for New Production Introduction (NPI) phases, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to key milestones.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams to ensure seamless transitions to operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in product development processes, providing technical expertise and driving cost, quality, and cycle time goals.
- Interface with internal stakeholders, including Research & Development, Configuration Management, Planning, Purchasing, Quality & Engineering, and Manufacturing/Product Delivery, to ensure effective industrialization.
- Work with customers to prepare and present status reports, taking an active role in milestone reviews and driving project success.
- Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) to inform sourcing decisions, collect and formulate change requests, and execute change control processes, including Non-Standard Requests (NSRs) or Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
About You:
- Hold a technical master's degree with at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in a NPI environment within a high-tech industry.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, a proven track record of improving efficiency and effectivity in technical production environments, and substantial experience in project management.
- Demonstrate proven ability to perform effectively in demanding environments with changing workloads and deadlines, coupled with strong negotiation skills and fluency in English.
