Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to formulate and implement strategic product launch plans, ensuring effective and successful market penetration.
  • Steer cross-functional teams in overseeing the complete product launch cycle, from conception to market release.
  • Utilize design thinking methodologies to foster innovation, create user-focused solutions, and provide outstanding customer experiences.
  • Perform comprehensive market evaluations to uncover customer requirements, industry trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
  • Assess technical viability, conduct product trials, and offer suggestions for design enhancements.
  • Craft detailed go-to-market strategies, encompassing pricing, distribution channels, and promotional campaigns.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to guarantee smooth integration of design and engineering components throughout the product development process.
  • Interpret customer feedback, conduct post-launch assessments, and provide data-driven recommendations for product improvements or updates.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management and engineering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, new product launches, or similar roles, with an emphasis on introducing innovative products to the market.
  • Strong grasp of product development processes, from idea generation to market launch, with experience leading product introduction initiatives.
  • Expertise in design thinking practices and the ability to apply them to foster user-centered product innovation.
  • Robust technical background with an understanding of engineering principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and translating insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to derive insights from market data and customer feedback.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the capability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and promoting collaboration across design, engineering, and business functions.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools for efficient project execution.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and other design tools to effectively communicate and visualize product concepts.
