Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to formulate and implement strategic product launch plans, ensuring effective and successful market penetration.
  • Oversee cross-disciplinary teams in managing the comprehensive product launch process, from concept development to market realization.
  • Utilize design thinking methodologies to promote innovation, craft user-centric solutions, and provide outstanding customer experiences.
  • Perform in-depth market evaluations to uncover customer requirements, industry trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
  • Assess technical viability, execute product testing, and offer suggestions for design enhancements.
  • Create thorough go-to-market strategies, encompassing pricing, distribution channels, and promotional campaigns.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to guarantee smooth integration of design and engineering components throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Interpret customer feedback, conduct post-launch assessments, and provide data-driven recommendations for product improvements or updates.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management and engineering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related discipline. An MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, new product launches, or similar roles, with an emphasis on introducing innovative products to the market.
  • Strong grasp of product development processes, from conception to commercialization, with experience leading product launch initiatives.
  • Expertise in design thinking methodologies and the ability to apply them to foster user-centered product innovation.
  • Robust technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and the capability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and translating insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the skill to derive insights from market data and customer feedback.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and promoting collaboration across design, engineering, and business sectors.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools for efficient project execution.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools to effectively communicate and visualize product concepts.
