We are seeking a skilled Certified Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team, where you will engage in a variety of technical responsibilities essential to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to support engineering, quality assurance, calibration, and production processes.
- Perform assembly, disassembly, reassembly, and inspection of complex electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including chassis and printed circuit boards.
- Assist in the testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of a diverse range of electromechanical and mechanical equipment.
- Coat parts and assemblies with protective materials as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a technical role.
- Proficiency in operating machine tools such as drill presses and grinders.
- Experience with electronic and mechanical tasks, including the ability to read schematic diagrams.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in electronic and mechanical tasks.
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures.
- Experience with static sensitive handling techniques.
- Familiarity with Patriot Major End Items or other air defense systems.
- Certifications in soldering or welding.
- Experience in wire wrapping.
Educational Requirements:
A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, unless local laws or regulations dictate otherwise.
