Technology Integration Specialist

The role of a Technology Integration Expert at SYNCREON involves designing and implementing interfaces to and from internal systems and external partners, as well as optimizing existing interfaces. This position requires providing 1st and 2nd level support to EDI and API incidents for over 300 external business partners and 60 internal software systems in the European region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure workflow-based interfaces, including mapping of standard formats like EDIFACT, IDOC, JSON, X.12, XML, and others.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like AS2, OFTP, SFTP, and API.
- Project management, functional and integration testing, and detailed implementation and change documentation.
- Patching, maintenance, and configuration changes of middleware software.
- Incident analysis and corrective actions.
- Proactive monitoring of alert notifications and resolution or escalation as required.
Requirements:
- Completed professional training or Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, or provable equivalent experience.
- Experience and knowledge in EDI message types and protocols, or API-based communication.
- Experience and knowledge in EDI middleware, especially Lobster data and/or Boomi.
- Knowledge in network technology and network security.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in following change management and change control processes.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
