About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HESQ Manager to join our team at Yara Brunsbüttel GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and complying with YARA HESQ standards and systems, including ISO and other certification standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage local safety plans and projects in line with YARA's safety culture
- Analysis of safety incidents, work accidents and near misses as well as recording and evaluating test results to derive necessary measures
- Execute and support internal and external audits
- Ensure any necessary monitoring and reporting to management and local authorities
- Lead the HESQ-Team (including environment, occupational and plant safety) and the laboratory
Requirements
- Degree (at least BSc/ MSc) in chemistry, environment, or equivalent qualification
- At least 8 years of professional experience in the HESQ area, preferably in the chemical industry
- Qualified auditor for different standards
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations and standards
- Experience in ISO certification process
- Team worker with ability to work independently
- Fluent in German and English
