Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HESQ Manager to join our team at Yara Brunsbüttel GmbH. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and complying with YARA HESQ standards and systems, including ISO and other certification standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage local safety plans and projects in line with YARA's safety culture
  • Analysis of safety incidents, work accidents and near misses as well as recording and evaluating test results to derive necessary measures
  • Execute and support internal and external audits
  • Ensure any necessary monitoring and reporting to management and local authorities
  • Lead the HESQ-Team (including environment, occupational and plant safety) and the laboratory

Requirements

  • Degree (at least BSc/ MSc) in chemistry, environment, or equivalent qualification
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in the HESQ area, preferably in the chemical industry
  • Qualified auditor for different standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations and standards
  • Experience in ISO certification process
  • Team worker with ability to work independently
  • Fluent in German and English
