About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team at Merantix's AI Campus in Berlin. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in building innovative, user-centric interfaces that empower businesses to automate complex workflows and scale sustainability efforts.

With a strong focus on AI-powered document workflows and ESG Agents, our platform harnesses the power of AI to help companies make more sustainable decisions. As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for crafting sleek, intuitive interfaces that drive business success and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex, scalable frontend applications using React and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with backend services and design systems.
  • Implement high-performance applications with a focus on efficient rendering and responsiveness.
  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across UI components.
  • Work closely with designers to create visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of React and related technologies.
  • Proficient in state management using Redux Toolkit and hooks.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and monorepos.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks, such as Jest and Cypress.
