Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Crytek is seeking a highly skilled Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Frankfurt or remotely. As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of network operations globally.

Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and contract with DC and hosting service providers to ensure seamless game server deployment and management.
  • Oversee the installation process of game servers and coordinate hardware management, traffic management, and game development team coordination.
  • Collaborate with platform development teams to design and implement server solution architecture for PC and console platforms.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality-standard processes for network operations, including deployment and monitoring automation.
  • Manage and motivate a team of server engineers, DB administrators, and net ops supporters to ensure optimal service quality.
  • Install and connect anti-bot and anti-cheat systems within existing Crytek services and manage technical aspects of these systems.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in mid to senior-level management.
  • 3+ years of experience in operation of online platforms.
  • Extensive experience in network operations for games as a service.
  • Excellent client service skills and project management skills.
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills.
