About the Role

Merkle DACH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team by analyzing data, improving sales processes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analytics: Prepare and improve reports and dashboards requested by management, ensuring good data quality by reviewing CRM data based on defined criteria, and providing proactive data to management to inform business decisions.
  • Sales Process and CRM - Salesforce Administration: Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel, design new business processes, brief technical teams to set up these processes, and train users on new processes.
  • Support the Commercial Organization - Daily Business: Serve as the main contact person for internal colleagues regarding CRM system user issues and questions, providing support via a ticket system, email, and screen sharing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a back-office or detail-oriented role, such as finance, banking, commercial operations, customer service, sales support, etc.
  • Previous experience in an IT company or large organization is a plus.
  • Openness to familiarizing yourself with our CRM system and its customizations, ideally with Salesforce experience.
  • Solid knowledge of common Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good sense of priorities and a structured way of working, with deep attention to details.
  • Strong communication skills and customer orientation, as well as social skills.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
