Strategic Procurement Manager

Welcome to an exciting opportunity at Sonova as a Senior Strategic Program Manager in the field of Indirect Procurement. You will be responsible for analyzing spend data, identifying cost-saving potential, and executing strategies to achieve these savings within the assigned Business Unit. Your role will involve implementing global cost-saving initiatives and leading projects on a global scale. Focus areas include budget optimization, generating cost savings, optimizing contractual payment terms, and vendor consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with procurement analytics and finance teams to analyze spending and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Act as a bridge between global initiatives and business units, ensuring alignment with overall strategies
  • Implement global category management strategies for maximum efficiency and cost optimization
  • Lead projects related to cost efficiencies, savings generation, vendor consolidation, and more
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and external partners to oversee spend management
  • Monitor procurement strategies' effectiveness, recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Finance and/or Procurement
  • Strong leadership skills, change management mindset, and strategic thinking
  • Experience in project management, negotiation, and decision-making
  • Results-driven with a focus on self-development and adaptability
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Fluency in English
