$140,000 - $200,000 per year

Job Description

A unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, transparent and highly technical team culture based on leveraging AI to remove prohibited, restricted, and counterfeit listings from our platform.

You will lead the development of modern web applications by developing system designs, helping to define the technical roadmap, steering the team on all technical aspects, and implementing code.

Responsibilities

  • Understand requirements of new products and translate these into a scalable software architecture
  • Implement back-end web services using Python, Java/Spring Boot and optionally GoLang
  • Assure delivery of high-quality software by setting up robust CI/CD pipelines, designing and writing tests, contributing to code reviews and debugging, and writing documentation
  • Own major projects and features from design phase to coding, testing, deployment and support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree, with 8 years of experience designing and developing highly scalable web applications
  • In-depth experience in translating requirements into scalable and future-proof software architectures
  • Broad knowledge of design patterns and technologies used in designing web applications
  • Proficiency and hands-on experiences in back-end development of RESTful web services using Python, Java/Spring Boot and optionally GoLang
