IT Strategy and Sourcing Consultant (m/w/d)

Your Future Responsibilities

In our Technology Service Line, we assist our clients in identifying, articulating, and addressing measures to align IT with their business models. Our consultants adopt both management and IT perspectives, skillfully steering client projects even in challenging and sensitive situations.

Your focus will be on analyzing strategic business objectives with an emphasis on IT sourcing and deriving specific IT actions. Areas of engagement include:

  • Development of IT Strategies & IT Sourcing Strategies and formulation of actionable plans
  • Definition, Implementation, and Optimization of IT sourcing activities across infrastructure, software, operations, and cloud computing
  • Conducting Market Surveys and Benchmarking
  • Creating Business Cases for strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Defining service catalogs and Service Level Agreements
  • Supporting Tender Processes (Request for Information/Request for Proposal) and selection of IT service providers
  • Performing Risk Assessments and Due Diligence
  • Engaging in Contract Negotiations and commissioning of service providers
  • Planning and overseeing Transitions to new service providers
  • Facilitating proactive Contract Management and service provider governance

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed your studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, (Business) Informatics, or a related field
  • You have gained initial practical experience in the realm of IT strategy and/or IT sourcing
  • You possess knowledge in IT areas such as infrastructure/cloud computing, workplace services, and/or application management
  • To optimally advise our clients on-site, you are willing to travel nationally and internationally
  • Excellent proficiency in both German and English rounds out your profile
