Position Overview

Amazon Online Germany GmbH is on the lookout for a Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead B2B marketing strategies, focusing on initiatives such as events, webinars, and customer engagement.

This pivotal role demands a skilled marketing professional with a strong affinity for developing and directing marketing strategies that resonate within the automotive sector, especially in promoting our advanced AI-driven voice assistant and infotainment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative global B2B marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the unique value and advantages of Amazon Smart Vehicles' offerings to industry stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue growth through customer success stories, executive outreach, and various marketing channels.
  • Take charge of event marketing, conceptualizing and executing industry events that elevate brand presence and enhance product comprehension among key audiences.
  • Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with OEMs, facilitating collaborative marketing efforts that highlight the benefits of integrating Amazon Smart Vehicles' technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, business development, and public relations, to ensure marketing and communication strategies align with overarching business goals.
  • Monitor and assess market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics to refine marketing strategies and product offerings.
  • Oversee B2B marketing budgets and resources, ensuring optimal allocation in alignment with strategic priorities and return on investment targets.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will collaborate with product and field teams, as well as marketing and PR departments, both internally and with OEM partners. You will regularly apply Amazon's Leadership Principles, bridging the gap between the automotive sector and Amazon's innovative environment.

Handling uncertainty around pre-launch products will be part of your daily tasks, requiring you to find effective marketing solutions despite evolving features. You will brainstorm creative marketing strategies, guide agencies, influence stakeholders, take ownership of campaign execution, analyze outcomes, and adapt based on insights.

Your strategies will be informed by a solid understanding of B2B marketing channels, complemented by your advanced project management skills and exceptional communication abilities, enabling you to navigate new challenges and deliver outstanding results.

Amazon Smart Vehicles (ASV) is dedicated to creating groundbreaking voice technologies and services that empower automotive OEMs to provide personalized, proactive, and intuitive digital experiences, ensuring drivers and passengers remain informed, entertained, and productive while on the road.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience in professional marketing roles.
  • Ability to leverage data and metrics for performance enhancement.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in developing, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing initiatives.
