About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician - Mechatronics at Amazon Fulfillment Germany GmbH, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our technical systems and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment at our facilities
  • Conduct repairs and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Utilize advanced tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures
  • Support the development and growth of apprentices at our site
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices
A Day in the Life

As a Maintenance Technician - Mechatronics, you will work on-site at one of our logistics centers, responding quickly to technical issues and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running smoothly. You will also investigate and resolve equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future issues. Additionally, you will provide recommendations for long-term improvements and collaborate with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems. We are a team of skilled technicians and engineers who work together to maintain, repair, and improve our technical systems. We are committed to excellence and strive to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • Completed technical training or apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g. mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment
  • Advanced German language skills (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with condition-based monitoring
  • Experience working with press and application machines
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of conveyor and automation systems
