Distributed Common Ground System – Army Field Service Representative

GDIT is seeking a highly skilled Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) Field Service Representative to support US Army Europe as part of our EMITS program team in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for DCGS-A Family of Systems (FoS) server and software integration, systems maintenance, exercise and operational support, and other technical support as required for systems in support of HQ USAREUR-AF-G2 and its subordinate units.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing Active Directory (AD) administration and configuring and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Architecting and deploying virtualization platforms using VMware technology and supporting Army and joint level exercises.
- Providing on-site diagnostic and corrective actions, assisting in obtaining and maintaining all related information security documentation to meet continuous monitoring and compliance criteria Authority to Connect (ATC).
- Performing analysis of system operations utilizing various operating systems and database management systems, conducting fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices.
- Troubleshooting and rapidly resolving problems with little to no oversight, creating exceptional technical documentation and drawings.
- An Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience.
- A valid DoD IAT II certification, Computing Environment certification, or any Microsoft certification.
