Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our esteemed team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems for prestigious clients in the aerospace industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring the success of critical programs.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers throughout the full program lifecycle, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Chief Engineers, contributing to strategic decision-making and project execution.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of all design activities, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to stringent quality standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative tools, processes, and methods to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively manage workload and resources across multiple programs, demonstrating exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Participate in technical audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the aerospace industry, specializing in structural engineering or mechanical design.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of CATIA and PLM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
