Incinerator Sales Engineer

Zeeco, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Sales & Applications Engineer to join our team in Krefeld, Germany. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our incinerator products to customers in the Duesseldorf area.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze customer inquiries and specifications to design and specify appropriate equipment for the application.
- Travel to customers' facilities for site support and details needed for technical review and proposal generation.
- Assist with technical development and risk assessment of customer enquiries.
- Develop cost estimates according to established guidelines.
- Set product pricing using mark-up and commission schedules established by management.
- Determine drawings needed for quotation and coordinate their completion.
- Write, edit, and issue formal quotations to customers.
- Follow-up on any written or verbal correspondence with customers during the quotation phase.
- Visit customers post-proposal issuance to discuss and negotiate proposals.
- Provide status reports to management on overall proposal status and activities.
- Assist with the creation and modification of sales presentations/documents using Microsoft Office, Excel/PowerPoint/Publisher/Adobe and all Web-based systems.
- Assist/guide commercial discussions with clients.
- Work with management to determine updated skills and tools needed to continue improving performance and knowledge.
- BS degree in Engineering or Masters (Mechanical, Chemical or related field)
- 5+ years of industry experience (ie. sales and/or industry experience)
- Fluent in English and German
- A passion for Engineering and Business - even though the position requires an engineering qualification or background, business acumen and commercial sound decision are necessary to success in the role.
