Applications Engineer for Waste Management Solutions

The Applications Engineer role focuses on the sales and technical support of Zeeco's incineration systems. This position is pivotal in understanding customer needs and translating them into effective solutions, ensuring the highest quality of service and product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and interpret client specifications to design and recommend suitable equipment for waste management applications.
- Conduct site visits to gather essential information for technical assessments and proposal development.
- Support the technical evaluation and risk analysis of customer requests.
- Prepare cost estimates in line with established protocols.
- Establish product pricing based on management guidelines.
- Identify necessary drawings for quotations and oversee their preparation.
- Draft, revise, and send formal proposals to clients.
- Engage in follow-up communications with clients during the proposal phase.
- Meet with clients after proposal submission to discuss and negotiate terms.
- Provide management with updates on proposal progress and related activities.
- Assist in creating and updating sales presentations and documentation using various software tools.
- Guide commercial discussions with clients to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Collaborate with management to identify ongoing training needs and skill enhancements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned that align with expertise and experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in sales or technical roles.
- Proficiency in both English and German.
