About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at YiDa Business Consulting & Translation Services. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships within the Volkswagen Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling of incoming requests and allocation of tasks to the calculation team
  • Clarifying technical details and open topics with the Technical Development department at the customer
  • Creating requests and discussing options with potential equipment suppliers
  • Preparing documentation for orders and handovers to customers
  • Introducing concepts and offer prerequisites to the customer
  • Conducting price negotiations and checking contract documents
  • Transferring to the internal project team and tracking of project progress
  • Setting up customer CBD with the cost estimator
Requirements
  • Completed vocational training or studies in a technical or commercial area, with a university degree in business administration and/or mechanical engineering preferred
  • Good knowledge of auto exterior/metal, with a minimum of three years' professional experience in sales in an automotive supplier
  • Knowledge of sales of technical products requiring explanation or customized solutions
  • Profound technical understanding and ability to understand complex situations
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in German and English
