Postdoctoral Researcher in Robotic Fabrication for Sustainable Construction

The Universität Kassel is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our research team in advancing sustainable digitalization in architecture and construction through bio-fabrication.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and development in the field of robotic fabrication and bioconstruction
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in materials science, architecture, robotics, and engineering
- Develop and execute experiments, design and build biofabrication prototypes, and analyze data using simulation and machine learning
- Design and fabricate processes with biomaterials and advanced robotic fabrication equipment
- PhD in architecture, engineering, or a related field with a focus on digital fabrication, robotics, and/or bio-based materials
- Strong technical skills in computational design, digital fabrication, robotics, and tool-design
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
