Global Operational Excellence Transformation Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Operational Excellence Transformation Leader to join our team at Elanco. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence initiatives across all functions, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other best practices to drive operational excellence initiatives, optimizing workflows, eliminating waste, and enhancing overall productivity.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operational processes and foster an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and cross-functional problem-solving.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operational processes and digital initiatives, conducting regular performance reviews and data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring intervention.
- Lead Change Management Efforts: Lead change management efforts associated with process improvements and digital transformation initiatives, providing training and support to employees to enhance their skills and capabilities in adopting new technologies and operational practices.
- Drive Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation initiatives across all operational functions, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and data analytics, and championing the adoption of digital tools and platforms to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve decision-making capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) or higher.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in functional management leading and directing individuals and groups and influencing decisions in a matrix organization; 2+ years of Operational Excellence related professional experience.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement programs with quantifiable business results.
- Production Operations Management Experience: Production Operations Management experience in Pharmaceutical, Animal Health or other highly regulated industry.
- Ability to Connect and Influence: Ability to connect and influence others without authority.
- Demonstrated Familiarity: Demonstrated familiarity of manufacturing financials with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Travel: Expected 20% travel is required to support the manufacturing sites, dependent on current site/project needs and travel climate.
