We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Professional to join our team at Grant Thornton Luxembourg.
About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take on a key role in our External Audit department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering high-quality audit services, and supervising junior team members.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead client engagements from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results;
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff on audit processes and procedures;
- Identify and resolve client issues through effective communication and problem-solving skills;
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives and improve processes;
- Adhere to professional standards and maintain confidentiality throughout all interactions;
- Pursue ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree in Audit, Economics, Accountancy, or Finance;
- A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in External Audit, preferably in a Fiduciary setting in Luxembourg;
- Fluency in French and English, with proficiency in German also desirable;
- Interest in obtaining professional certifications, such as IRE or CA;
- Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of ISA and IFRS;
- Proven analytical, organizational, and time management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
