Job Title: Associate Director

Our client, a leading global construction and consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the planning and controls activities for a large-scale complex construction project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction and coordination of all project controls activities within safety, quality, time, and cost milestones for a specific area/scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an overall integrated plan and budget for the project
  • Establish effective and fully transparent reporting and controls across the whole project
  • Advocate value of safety first and maintain exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards
  • Ensure projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored
  • Manage the planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services
  • Support senior management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development or alliance projects

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Primavera P6 project planner on large-scale construction projects, ideally for a tier 1 contractor or client-side consultancy
  • A construction-related degree (civil/structural engineering, or construction/project management or equivalent)
  • Experience working on large projects/programmes
  • Background in construction or project management and a drive to grow your career
