About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our planning function, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional planning and scheduling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of planners to deliver high-quality planning and scheduling services.
  • Develop and implement planning strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on planning and scheduling methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, resource plans, and other planning documents.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Mace's policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other planning software.
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution, such as APM, RICS, or CIOB.
