Senior Planning Manager

Our client, a leading global construction and consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced planning lead to work on a large-scale complex construction project.
You will be responsible for the direction and coordination of all project controls activities within safety, quality, time, and cost milestones for a specific area/scope of work.
This role is on a large-scale complex construction project, and you will support the development of an overall integrated plan and budget for the project.
You will establish effective and fully transparent reporting and controls across the whole project, advocate value of safety first, and maintain exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services.
- Support senior management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development or alliance projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in planning/scheduling, EVM, and project controls methodologies, and provide advice on complex requirements while communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively.
- Establish effective planning/schedule management systems and procedures and demonstrate expert knowledge of schedule management tools and software.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Primavera P6 project planner on large-scale construction projects, ideally for a tier 1 contractor or client-side consultancy.
- A construction-related degree (civil/structural engineering, or construction/project management or equivalent).
- Experience working on large projects/programmes.
- Background in construction or project management and a drive to grow your career.
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations in project management.
